Storyteller Heart
Oceans come and oceans go But echoes still remain Fever dreams of memories Fold and burn again Be still my storyteller heart Be calm my molten brow Dance with me upon the shore In the here and in the now Oceans come and oceans go And gossamer the days Bittersweet the violet dawn The parting of the ways The indecision symphony The writing on the wall The heavy tired lidded eyes Watch forever fade and fall Oceans come and oceans go Yet never two the same Waltzing in the candlelight To far too quick a flame Burning now the effigy To set the scene apart Ascribe the will so stern and still Across my storyteller heart

Poignant and lovely.
Did the same muse kiss us,
feather light, star bright,
and leave us in solitude
burning through the night?
This piece touched my heart. 💚🙏 thank you
