East Central
I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute The ripped poster on the wall thinks it's Monday Another coffin nail closer to sleep The splintered sunlight on the way to East Central Screaming hissing spitting read em and weep Because I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute A half heard conversation gets the mind racing Johnny come lately with wheels to sell Glance says I'll never know you in this life So pucker up because I'll see you in hell Because I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute Don't you put your hands on me Don't you Put Your Hands On Me I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute A side of whispers with a helping of apathy Tattered papers full of yesterday's news Tomorrow's people walk today's weary boundary Holding nothing like it's something to lose Because I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute The ripped poster on the wall knows it's Monday Another coffin nail closer to rest The splintered sunlight makes it's way to East Central Screaming hissing spitting less than impressed Because I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute Don't you put your hands on me Don't you Put Your Hands On Me Let me choose this day for you Let me Choose This Day For You I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute I take my time Just a minute Don't you put your hands on me Don't you Put Your Hands On Me

This feels like a song that keeps building tension with every repetition. The rhythm pulled me in, but the line “Don’t you put your hands on me” completely changed the atmosphere. I could almost hear it being performed.
Really enjoyed this one.
